Well, this is it. The book the guys at Michael Wiese Productions asked me to write. I had the choice of three different covers and believe me, when I saw this one I just about tore it out of their hands. I loved it!

I've gotten some good reviews and one review where the reader really hated it. It's like life, you take the good with the bad. There are many, many well-loved movies and books out there that I don't care for at all.

Because of the book I was asked to teach a seminar at the Sci-Fi-London Film Festival. I didn't make it there until last year, 2011 and I dearly wish I could have gone this year. It was a fabulous seminar and the people taking it were beyond super. I was pairing up strangers like a crazed matchmaker and they were all great sports to dive into working like that.

Maybe I can go back next year.

SCI-FI-LONDON FILM FESTIVAL

One of the premier reasons to visit London, I kid you not! These guys are great, the festival is great and you get to see London while you're at it. Louis Savy, the gentleman who runs it really, really, REALLY knows what he's doing.

Go! You'll love it! sci-fi-london.com

Social Skins Tattoo

Picture
This is some of the artwork (all air brush) by Bryan Griffith the genius who owns Social Skins Tattoo. He has done two of my more simple tattoos (because that's what I wanted) and will no doubt be doing a more intricate one for me toward the end of the year... or when I decide I have to have it... NOW.

Definitely check his establishment out. There is no flash (samples) of tattoos on the walls. This isn't a place where you go, look at a picture of a butterfly and say "that one." This is where someone gives you the tattoo you really want.
