Picture
I'm delighted to report that the script for "The Enchantress, a love triangle with death" is an award winner in the 2012 Moondance International Film Festival.

The festival will be held in New York City this year. The following is from the website:

Rebecca Bowen Music added to page

Picture
I've added excerpts of the music by Swiss composer Thomas Chaillan to the Rebecca Bowen page. You can click here  or simply look up at the menu bar and click on "Rebecca Bowen". Once on the page, scroll down past the slide show and you'll be able to listen to roughs of the various themes that will be used for the Audio Movie.

A Jewel of the Gods Adventure: The Bloody Rosary Recorded!!!! (and it's totally awesome)

Picture
The first phase is done!

On July 21st the cast (including: Wednesday Wolf, Michelle Robins Fuller, Jane Cater, Michael Langley, Joseph Cassanessa, Tyrone Stark, Donna De La Rosa, Vic Unger, John Empey, and BJ West) gathered at Sophia Hat Studios for a marathon recording day.

The cast laughed, they cried (sort of), they screamed and yelled, sounded like they got punched, kissed, smacked, stitched up, drugged, knocked down and loved. Whew!

As the director I have to say, I am totally, absolutely, incredibly excited about this project. I haven't touched the tracks (there are 10 just for the actors) yet. I finally pulled them together for the first chapter of the piece yesterday so I can pull out the out-takes, the (occasional) flubbed line, the change in direction, etc. and be left with clean tracks to send to our sound designer, Aesop. He's anxious to get to work, but is finishing up Rebecca Bowen at this time so, we both have time to relax and do it right.

Check back periodically, we'll have more news as we go along.

"The cursed rosary of the 16th Century Priest, Father Carlo of Milan was thought to be a legend, until it was found in a box marked "junk" and headed for a thrift store. Now the only person who can be trusted to get it to safety is a young man with an antagonistic relationship with the church. Can he get it past ruthless art thieves, a family bent on keeping it hidden, or the shadowy figure who wants it for his own purposes?"

The art work above is the preliminary design for the show once it goes on sale on CD Baby and other sites. Photo by myself. We need to add the musicians and other information before it's complete.

Of course we haven't made a page specifically for The Bloody Rosary yet, but we have gone in and created some fun things at Cafe Press in case you'd like the Rosary to boldly embellish your mug or tote bag.

The Enchantress on XM Sirius Satellite

Picture
I've been informed that "The Enchantress, A love triangle with death" has been accepted by XM Sirius Satellite Radio and will be included on their "Book Radio" channel which also plays Audio Movies.

The channel is #80 at http://www.siriusxm.com/bookradio

As soon as I am told when the show will be aired I will put the information up here on the website. No doubt in blazing, big and bold red letters!

To find out more about The Enchantress please click here or simply click on the appropriate page above. There you'll find the list of cast and crew, a short slide show of a video we're working on, and you'll also be able to listen to the music that has been composed specifically for The Enchantress by my friend and colleague: Aaron Weed.

Check out The Enchantress page for links to Cafe Press to get a mug or tote bag with your favorite enchantress on it.

Flower photos on Cafe Press

Picture
Lately on my blog I have been uploading a great many flower photographs I've taken. I've also posted them with short little poems by the namesake of my production company: Sebastian T Sweet.

I've been rather surprised, and totally pleased, by the fact that many of the flower photos are being reblogged quite often and... cue the trumpets... I've been asked where people might be able to buy something with a photo on it.

So, of course I went to my shop at Cafe Press and loaded in quite a few of the photos on different items such as mugs, t-shirts, mouse pads, and, of course, note cards.

I only did this for about five of the flower pictures. However, I have a gallery posted on my Blog Link page (see drop down menu at the top of this page or click here) and you can see all the flowers that I have put into Cafe Press. Simply let me know if there is one that you would like, and what you would like it on and it's very easy for me to create that particular item just for you. In the little gallery of pictures I have included images showing which flowers already have been attached to wearables and usables.
